But you can actually get a canon 5d Mark 1 for around £1000 or sometimes a bit cheaper (check here Canon EOS 5D 12.8 MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)), but is it worth it?
Is the full frame 12mp 5 year old Canon camera worth forking out a grand when you can now get a Canon 60D or Nikon D7000 which have many more features and better iso abilities and video!
Here are a couple of videos I meant to put up a while ago. Here I am testing the sharpness of the canon EF-S lens (meaning it wont fit on a full frame body) the 17-85mm f:4-5.6 lens.
The Canon 75-300mm USM Mark 3 lens is a pretty long reaching telephoto lens and when attached to a cropped sensor camera it is a stonking great reach. The equivelent of 450mm+
Now that is a lot of reach and for a lens that is super cheap as well.
The Nikon lens in this blog is not a new lens, it is super old and oldschool, it has no auto focus, no in camera aperture control, no zoom or auto conformation. Its not nearly as sharp as modern day lenses but for some reason I love it.
The Nikon Fish eye lens is a bit crazy, its wide enough to capture your toes and the top of your head when you are taking the photo. This shot was taken 14cm away from Kim (practically touching her nose and yet look at how much of her you can see!
This post looks closely at the sharpness of the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens. I use this lens a lot and I love it, but as you will see in the photos below it is not always the sharpest lens.
Here I show you the difference in look and light dispersion you get from either doing a shooting into an umbrella (bouncing it) or shooting through an umbrella.
The shooting into the umbrella (bouncing) give a much more directional looking light and less is splashed around the room,
Hello
This blog post is about how I made the composite image where I put a model who I shot in 5 or 6 different locations within a frame of a picture and then stick them all together and also do some funky editing to them.
